  • Eidolon Golf, best known for its V-Sole wedges, has unveiled a new brand, Scor Golf, whose first release is the Scor4161 line of short irons and wedges. The innovative Scor4161 product line redesigns short irons and wedges and erases the line between them to give golfers the ability to build a precision, custom-built set of scoring clubs from 41 to 61 degrees in loft. Just as many golfers have replaced their long irons with hybrids, Scor clubs could encourage golfers to replace many of their current scoring clubs with these new models that deliver improved trajectories and better accuracy.
  • The Anser wedges from Ping are forged from soft 8620 steel that provides a solid, assured feel. A high-density tungsten toe weight optimizes the Center of Gravity and elevates the MOI for penetrating, high-spin trajectories and repeatable shot making. A thicker hitting area, stabilizing bar and hourglass-shaped reinforced back cavity ensure consistency. The machined face and grooves maximize spin and control. These wedges come in 50-, 52-, 54-, 56-, 58- and 60-degree lofts.
  • The new GP 80 wedges from Williams Sports incorporates Williams' Formula 1-inspired Densimet Weighting System. Densimet, the same material used to weight F1 racecars, is positioned toward the top of the blade to produce a lower ball flight, higher spin rate and better accuracy, even in windy conditions. The wedges feature a CNC laser milled face and grooves as well as a 360-degree bevel around the cavity. The sole bevel improves bunker performance and flop shots while the top bevel hides the thicker top line and gives the wedge a more classic look at address. They are available in 52-, 54-, 56-, 58- and 60-degree lofts.
  • Scratch 8620 wedges are milled from the same 8620 mild carbon steel as other leading wedges, but these are CNC milled to ensure a perfectly flat face and additional spin. The 8620 boasts a classic teardrop head, with a high toe and a slightly rounded leading edge, and each face contains Scratch's proprietary "all bite no chew" (ABC) groove technology in which each groove is machined for maximum spin but the edges are slightly rounded to reduce chewing your golf ball. They also contain a Brushed Satin finish for the durability of chrome with a duller surface to help eliminate glare.
  • The new MT-28 V5 T.S. wedges were created to promote versatility, stability and precision on both full and half swings. Their standout feature is their "reverse taper design," in which a groove is strategically located between the sole and blade to move the Center of Gravity to a higher, more stabilizing position. The H Sole models come with a flat sole with slight heel and toe relief for versatility, while the M Sole models (shown) have a slight ridge on the bottom center to optimize bounce and allow for easy control. The clubs come in lofts from 48 to 60 degrees and with a black finish.
  • For 2011, Vokey Design Spin Milled C-C wedges are available with an even larger number of choices for loft, bounce and sole grind, as well as in two different groove configurations. The profile for each wedge has been created to perfectly blend the size, shape, topline thickness and offset from loft to loft, while a special circular saw-style cutting tool cuts precise grooves with maximum allowable draft angles and edge radii for more consistent performance. The Spin Milled C-C grooves produce a higher trajectory with medium spin. The clubs come in 48-, 50-, 52-, 54-, 56, 58-, 60-, 62- and 64-degree models.
  • The new X Series Jaws CC wedges mark the debut of Callaway's Tour CC grooves, which are crafted through a proprietary process and, Callaway says produce up to 55 percent more ball spin than competing wedges. The new wedges are forged of 1020 carbon steel for a soft feel and feedback, and feature up to 21 tightly spaced grooves that provide the maximum cross-sectional area to ensure that moisture and debris are swept away. New bounce options have been added for 2011, and the clubs come in 50-, 52-, 54-, 56-, 58- and 60-degree models.
  • After 93 years of clubmaking experience, John Letters of Scotland has launched the new Tour Black wedges, which are hand forged from 8620 steel. Featuring a clean, classy look and distinctive black finish, they are available with a variety of custom-fitted shaft options -- including the new KBS Black shaft, which when coupled with the distinctive black clubhead and black Golf Pride Tour Velvet grip offers a stunning look while reducing glare. They are available in 52-, 56- and 60-degree models.
  • Miura Golf's new Yoshitaka (Y) Grind Wedges join the famed Japanese clubmaker's 1957 Series, and the special grind on the Y-Grind wedges was created by Yoshitaka Miura, son of company founder Katsuhiro Miura. These wedges feature Miura's unique forging technique, which creates a uniform pattern throughout the hitting area and gives the clubs a consistent, controlled, soft feel. They come in a W nickel (satin) chrome/black finish, and come in 49-, 51- and 53-degree models.
  • The new Vari-Loft Concept wedges allow customization to any loft from 47 to 61 degrees. Each head has been engineered so the loft can be altered one degree weak or strong without compromising the playability. That isn't possible without their patented V-Sole design, Eidolon says, adding that only with the V-Sole's two different bounce angles can such loft alterations be made without compromising performance. The new wedges feature precision CNC-milled faces and grooves, as well as three shaft options. The clubs come in 48-, 51-, 54-, 57- and 60-degrees models.
  • Unique in the wedge category are TaylorMade's exchangeable-face XFT wedges, which allow golfers to switch in a new hitting area when the old grooves begin to wear down to maintain maximum backspin and control. All the clubs' key components are precision milled for spin-inducing texture, a perfectly flat face, a secure fit within the clubhead and perfectly formed grooves. These clubs come in 50-, 52-, 54-, 56-, 58-, 60-, 62- and 64-degree models.
  • Made of soft 8620 steel, the Tour-S Rustique wedge features a unique golden finish that tarnishes naturally and rusts over time. The machined face and grooves are engineered to optimize spin for improved control around the green, while a re-shaped sole geometry allows for shotmaking versatility. The wedge's Custom Tuning Port angles toward the back surface to increase perimeter weighting for added forgiveness. The clubs come in 52-, 56- and 60-degree models.
  • Forged out of S20C iron for elite players, the VR Pro wedges feature X3X high-frequency grooves for consistent ball flight. More grooves, deeper and closer together on the clubface, ensure maximum ball flight control and conform to USGA regulations. Precision forging eliminates most handiwork and ensures consistency throughout the set. These wedges come in satin chrome (shown) and brushed oxide raw finishes, and are available in 48-, 50-, 52-, 54-, 56-, 58- and 60-degree models.
  • The milled grooves on the Puglielli Black wedges maximize spin in all playing conditions. These premium wedges are forged from soft 8620 carbon steel for soft feel and performance, while the trailing edge sole grind and heel relief improve shot-shaping options around the green. The clubs are finished in a nickel chromium-plated black coating to reduce glare. The clubs come in 52-, 54-, 56-, 60- and 64-degree models.
  • For 2011, the Heavy Wedge is available with conforming grooves. With a head mass only slightly heavier than a conventional wedge, a 65-gram counterweight raises the club's balance point nearly 40 percent, promoting distance control, tighter shot dispersion, and unparalleled feel. The clubs are made from 8620 Carbon Steel and feature CNC milled face and grooves, and the 37 percent higher balance point produced by the back weighting system is the key to improved body mechanics. The clubs come in 52-, 54-, 56-, 58- and 60-degree models.
  • The J38 Oxide Wedges get their name from their non-glare Black Oxide finish, and they're targeted to professionals down through mid-handicap amateurs. They feature USGA-conforming U-grooves on their CNC milled faces, as well as Variable Bounce Technology that creates a low bounce on the heel and toe sole areas. Made from 8620 Mild Carbon Steel for enhanced feel, these clubs come in 52-, 54-, 56-, 58- and 60-degree models.
  • The leading edges of all rac TP wedges are radiused, enhancing the ability to hit low punch shots without digging, while the milled Y-cutter grooves offer a clean, sharp, consistent groove edge that grips the cover of the ball more effectively. The sole is ground low on the trailing edge and at the toe and heel to allow players to open the clubface around the green to play high, soft chips and pitches. The clubs come in 52-, 54-, 56-, 58- and 60-degree models.
  • The new FG Tour wedges provide a high-performance option for all-handicap players looking to score from tight fairway lies, deep rough and sand while controlling spin throughout the course. Using CNC milling, Wilson has carved the most aggressive grooves allowed under the new rules, and an additional milled pattern is etched into the face at the optimum angle of impact to deliver greater ball control from wet and long grass. The clubs come in 50-, 52, 54-, 56-, 58- and 60-degree models, and the 58- and 60-degree clubs feature hand grinds in the heel to lower the leading edge, allowing the face to be opened for more creative shotmaking.
  • Cleveland Golf's CG16 wedge is based on the shape of the tour-proven CG14 wedge, with a hint of offset and slightly a larger clubhead for added forgiveness. The face features the same spin-maximizing technology featured on the CG15 wedge -- Tour Zip Grooves combined with Cleveland's breakthrough Laser Milled surface roughness technology that mills four perfectly calibrated texture lines between each groove for extra bite. The clubs are available in Black Pearl and Satin Chrome finishes, and come in 46-, 48-, 50-, 52-, 54-, 56-, 58-, 60-, 62- and 64-degree models.
  • The new MP T-11 wedges are Grain Flow Forged from 1025E "Pure Select" mild carbon steel for soft, solid and consistent feel, while an innovative 360-degree sole grind and thinner top line deliver improved versatility and control. Quad Cut Groove Technology allows precise control of the width, depth, draft angle and shoulder radius of every groove, and the grooves combine with a CNC milled face for maximum spin. The MP T-11s come in both a two-tone White Satin chrome finish and glare resistant Black Nickel finish, and are available in 50-, 52-, 54-‚ 56- and 58-degree models.
  • Each 1018 wedge is ground by hand from a raw forging of 1018 carbon steel to exact specs, and each grind is specifically designed to fit one of three swing types. The head shape was inspired by Scratch's work with tour pros worldwide, and each face contains Scratch's proprietary "all bite no chew" (ABC) groove technology in which each groove is machined for maximum spin but the edges are slightly rounded to reduce chewing your golf ball. The 1018 wedges feature Scratch's unique Smoked Satin finish, which provides the durability of chrome with a duller and darker color to eliminate glare.
  • Miura Golf's new C-Grind Wedges join the famed Japanese clubmaker's 1957 Series with the goal of creating wedges with a more aggressive heel-and-toe relief without compromising the basic fundamentals of a high-performance club. When this special "C-Grind" is combined with their unique density of grain structure, balance and feel, Miura says, the result is a precision forged wedge that is eminently playable in a broad range of conditions. They come in a W nickel (satin) chrome/black finish, and come in 55-, 57- and 59-degree models.
  • Nike's V-Rev wedges are made from 8620 carbon steel, which is 45 percent softer than 17-4 stainless steel and is the material of choice for many accomplished players. Their new V-Rev groove design conforms to USGA regulations, while their Dual Sole design provides versatility in multiple turf conditions. These clubs are available in black satin and satin chrome (shown) finishes and come in 52-, 54-, 56-, 58- and 60-degree models.
  • The Z-TP wedges are named for their "z" grooves, which feature sharper edges and 10 percent more volume than the Y-cutter grooves found in TaylorMade's rac wedges. These larger, more aggressively edged grooves deliver higher spin for more stopping power and make it more difficult for grass or other debris to become clogged. The C grind sole makes it easy to open the face differing degrees to play a variety of greenside shots, while the smoked PVD finish reduces glare and promotes improved focus. The clubs come in 52-, 54-, 56-, 58- and 60 degree models.
  • In contrast to the soft 8620 steel from which the Tour-S Rustique wedges are made, Ping's Tour-S models are constructed from harder 17-4 stainless steel to enhance control and feel and help shots fly precise distances. The machined face and grooves are engineered to optimize spin for improved control and shotmaking around the green, while a re-shaped sole geometry allows for shotmaking versatility. The wedge's Custom Tuning Port angles toward the back surface to increase perimeter weighting for added forgiveness. They come in 47-, 50-, 52-, 54-, 56-, 58- and 60-degree models, all with a brushed silver finish.
  • For 2011, Vokey Design Spin Milled wedges are available with an even larger number of choices for loft, bounce and sole grind, as well as in two different groove configurations. The profile for each wedge has been created to perfectly blend the size, shape, topline thickness, and offset from loft to loft, while a special circular saw-style cutting tool cuts precise grooves with maximum allowable draft angles and edge radii for more consistent performance. The Spin Milled grooves produce a medium trajectory with high spin. The clubs come in 48-, 50-, 52-, 54-, 56, 58-, 60-, 62- and 64-degree models.
  • Milled grooves as sharp, deep and wide as the USGA allows are cut into each new Wilson Staff Tw9 wedge for shot-stopping spin from precise distances. New, lower-lofted cavity-back options bridge the gap between the pitching wedge and sand wedge for improved gapping. The 48- and 50-degree loft options feature a slightly larger cavity back with the same playability of a player's blade, while the 52-, 54-, 56-, 58- and 60-degree models feature tour-preferred shapes with smaller heads. They come in glare-reducing gunmetal (shown) or satin finishes.
  • The Watson wedges feature an optimal blend of performance, versatility and forgiveness, while their aggressive box grooves allow for more traction, resulting in better spin and control. The Classic Grind models feature generous sole widths to prevent digging into the turf, while the Players Grind models are designed for maximum versatility from all turf conditions. The Classic Grind clubs come in 54-, 56-, 60- and 64-degree models, while the Players Grind clubs come in 52-, 54-, 56-, 58-, 60- and 64-degree models.
  • MacGregor's tour-quality forged VIP wedges combine a classic look and shape with superior spin control and soft feel. Made from soft 1025 carbon steel, their tightly compacted grain structure results in enhanced feel and consistency. Their micro-milled clubface optimizes spin control even on the most challenging shots. These clubs come in chrome and black finishes, and are available in 52-, 54-, 56-, 58- and 60-degree models.

For 2011, the Heavy Wedge is available with conforming grooves.

The leading edges of all rac TP wedges are radiused, enhancing the ability to hit low punch shots without digging, while the milled Y-cutter grooves offer a clean, sharp, consistent groove edge that grips the cover of the ball more effectively. The sole is ground low on the trailing edge and at the toe and heel to allow players to open the clubface around the green to play high, soft chips and pitches. The clubs come in 52-, 54-, 56-, 58- and 60-degree models.

The new FG Tour wedges provide a high-performance option for all-handicap players looking to score from tight fairway lies, deep rough and sand while controlling spin throughout the course.

Each 1018 wedge is ground by hand from a raw forging of 1018 carbon steel to exact specs, and each grind is specifically designed to fit one of three swing types.

Miura Golf's new C-Grind Wedges join the famed Japanese clubmaker's 1957 Series with the goal of creating wedges with a more aggressive heel-and-toe relief without compromising the basic fundamentals of a high-performance club.

The Z-TP wedges are named for their "z" grooves, which feature sharper edges and 10 percent more volume than the Y-cutter grooves found in TaylorMade's rac wedges.

In contrast to the soft 8620 steel from which the Tour-S Rustique wedges are made, Ping's Tour-S models are constructed from harder 17-4 stainless steel to enhance control and feel and help shots fly precise distances.

Milled grooves as sharp, deep and wide as the USGA allows are cut into each new Wilson Staff Tw9 wedge for shot-stopping spin from precise distances.
